Day Twenty-Six

Time to head west to Utah and the Arches national park. On the way, gas stations spaced out quite a bit and at some point I was so low on gas I wondered if I'll make it to the next gas station. Well, I made it to the next gas station but just check out the price of gas on the picture - mere robbery. And today, the price of gas here in San Francisco was 2.15

Arches was magnificent. My favorite is the Delicate Arch but you'll also recognize the Landscape Arch which is the biggest natural arch.

Day Twenty-Five

On the farm, picking and eating tomatoes, yuhuuu ...

There were some dangerous creatures to avoid too ...

Day Twenty-Four

Ghost town wild west museum.

Day Twenty-Three

The Mollie Kathleen Golden Mine in Cripple Creek. This was an awesome experience going more than 300 meters underground. The golden nugget that I'm holding in one of the pictures costs $4200.

Cripple Creek is also full of casinos so I got to gamble a little bit.

In the evening, dinner at the Flying W Ranch in Colorado Springs.

Day Twenty-Two

Back in Colorado Springs I did Pikes Peak. This place is the top of the world - more than 4000 meters in altitude. There is so little oxygen up there that I got dizzy. I also got to practice some russian up there.

In the evening, Colorado Springs downtown and the Broadmoor hotel.
